Continuing Airworthiness
ICAO の Airworthiness Manualによると以下の通り。
“All of the processes ensuring that, at any time in its life, an aeroplane complies with the technical conditions fixed to the issue of the Certificate of Airworthiness and is in a condition for safe operation“ - source: ICAO Airworthiness Manual [ICAO, 2014]
航空機が、その使用期間のどの時点においても、耐空証明に定められた技術的な基準に適合し、安全な運航状態であることを保証するための全てのプロセス。
Continuing と Continued の違い
- ICAO Annex 8によると、Continued AWSは設計国の実施責任。
- 定められたプログラムに基づく耐空性の維持(Continuing AWS)は登録国の実施責任。

継続的な耐空性の管理
- Continuing Airworthiness Management
- EASA圏のオペレータはCAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization)が必要。
- 継続的な耐空性管理のタスクを実施するための（承認された）組織。
