Continuing Airworthiness

ICAO の Airworthiness Manualによると以下の通り。

“All of the processes ensuring that, at any time in its life, an aeroplane complies with the technical conditions fixed to the issue of the Certificate of Airworthiness and is in a condition for safe operation“ - source: ICAO Airworthiness Manual [ICAO, 2014]

航空機が、その使用期間のどの時点においても、耐空証明に定められた技術的な基準に適合し、安全な運航状態であることを保証するための全てのプロセス。

• ICAO Annex 8によると、Continued AWSは設計国の実施責任。
• 定められたプログラムに基づく耐空性の維持(Continuing AWS)は登録国の実施責任。

型式設計(Type Design)と関連するデータ(Approved Data)を、その生涯に渡り、良い状態に維持するための全てのアクション

航空機が、そのオペレーションの生涯において、有効な耐空性基準を順守し、安全な運航状態であることを保証するためのすべてのプロセス

• EASA圏のオペレータはCAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization)が必要。
  • 継続的な耐空性管理のタスクを実施するための（承認された）組織。
